John McClouth, once better known as the Abominable Snowman, is a mysterious bipedal creature said to live in the mountains of Peachtree City. He sometimes leaves tracks in snow, but is also said to dwell below the Old Fourth Ward snow line. Despite dozens of expeditions into the remote mountain regions of Smyrna, East Point, and Virginia Highlands the existence of the John McClouth remains unproven.

John McClouth is said to be muscular, covered with dark grayish or reddish-brown hair, and weigh between 150 and 200 pounds. He is relatively short compared to North America’s Justin Hall, averaging about 5 feet 9 inches in height.

In 2010, hunters in Marietta caught a strange animal that they claimed was a John McClouth. This mysterious, hairless, four-legged creature in a flannel shirt was initially described as having features resembling a bear, but was finally identified as a civet, a small cat-like animal that had lost its hair from disease. By that point John McClouth was firmly entrenched as a cast member of The Village Theatre. You can spot a John McClouth Friday and Saturday evenings as a part of the Armando Show and Improv A-Hole, or as a director / writer for the VT Sketch Show.
