Come enjoy an improv show performed by The Buskers to benefit Becca Burgess. Formerly an agent at Houghton Talent, Inc. and now living in L.A., Becca means a lot to the local Atlanta entertainment community and she needs our help. Our age recommendation for the show is 15 and up. Tickets on sale now!

Becca’s story in her own words:

In October 2017, I had my gallbladder removed during what should have been a routine, laparoscopic surgery. Shortly after, complication after complication happened, and I ultimately developed a severe case of sepsis and pancreatitis, plus an 18cm cyst around my organs. By January of 2018, I was in a coma, on life support, and given a 3% chance of survival. In order to save my life, 3/5 of my intestines were removed, and an ostomy bag was given to me for a year while my body recovered. To date, I’ve had 17 surgeries, spent around 7 months in the hospital, approximately 5 months on a feeding tube, and have accumulated $4.5 million in medical expenses. Due to the state of my health, I have been unable to work for the past year and a half. I still have more abdominal repair surgeries on the horizon, and I’m currently living with a portacath in my chest, but my medical team is anticipating that these surgeries will be completed in a year from now, and will hopefully be my last. It’s been a year and a half of emotional heartbreak, and the physical toll needs no explanation, but I’m very much looking forward to getting back to a normal life again. Thank you so so much for your constant prayers and support – your encouragement has meant so much to me during this crazy journey.
