Mara Davis has called Atlanta home for nearly 20 years. A radio host known for her humor, honesty and love of pop culture, she came to Atlanta for classic rock station, Z-93, where she would remain for the next 18 years as the only DJ to stay through the station’s format change to 92.9 Dave FM.
This Friday, Mara will be the guest host for the Armando show at The Village Theatre. She’ll be telling real stories on stage that will inspire the improv actors to create scenes on the spot.
The super talented Davis will have plenty of past experiences to pull her stories from. Davis is well known in the community for her stage appearances at charity, corporate and entertainment events such as Atlanta Fashion Cares, Taste Of Atlanta, Hunger Walk, Juvenile Diabetes Walk, Atlanta Peach Drop, Bodies As A Work Of Art, Funny Farm/Laughing Skull Lounge, Atlanta AIDS walk, Virginia Highland Summerfest and more. She has been a Voice Over talent/TVhost for the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, Royal Caribbean, Web MD, Northwest Exterminating and Get Delicious Atlanta. She is also a contributor for HLN TV, TNT/TBS, Atlanta’s Fox 5 and 11 Alive.
